Growing international interest in "ASAN Service"

A representative of the State Agency visited Riyadh city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the invitation of the Islamic Development Bank to participate in its annual meeting and the 50th Golden Jubilee.

During the visit, the State Agency's representative met with the IDB's regional directors for Africa and Asia. In these meetings, a comprehensive presentation on the activities of "ASAN Service" was provided, and discussions were held on expanding of application of this experience in the member states of the organization located in these continents.

In the framework of the visit, meetings  were held with representatives of the  Cabinet of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Gambia and other relevant ministries. The comprehensive presentations were made on the activities of "ASAN Service" and other projects implemented by the State Agency.

In the meeting held with the Director of the UN South-South Cooperation Platform, the successful cooperation established within the framework between "ASAN Service" and the platform over the past period was discussed. It was also emphasized d that the "ASAN Service" model has been recognized as an advanced  practice by the platform twice. As a result of the discussions, it was agreed that "ASAN Service" would be represented in new initiatives to be proposed by the South-South Cooperation Platform in the relevant field.
