The 8th anniversary of “ABAD” has been celebrated
On September 23,2024 an event was organized to mark the 8th anniversary of the establishment of “ABAD” a public legal entity under the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency, congratulated the organization's employees and wished them success in their future careers.
Rufat Elchiyev, Director of the “ABAD” public legal entity, delivered a video presentation about the organization's activities. The presentation highlighted that, over the past period, “ABAD” has operated through 5 regional centers in Masalli, Balaken, Quba, Sheki and Tovuz 9 ethnoboutiques, 2 ceramics and applied arts centers, and 3 “ABAD” groceries in various hypermarkets. In total, 25 sales stands and production complexes have operated in Quba region.
As a pilot project “ABAD” started its activities in Masalli region with 7 farming families and to date, support measures have been carried out for 632 families. Of those, 481 are artisans, 129 work in the food sector and 22 work in other service areas. Through commercial activities with “ABAD” participants, thousands of various types of handicrafts, agricultural, and other products have been put up for sale.
The event concluded with the reward of employees who distinguished themselves in their service activities.
