“ASAN Service” practice in Romania
A delegation led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under is the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited Bucharest at the invitation of Mircea Abrudean, Secretary-General of the Government of Romania.
On the first day of the visit, Chairman of the State Agency and Gudsi Osmanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Romania, visited the monument of National Leader of Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, located in Tey Park in Bucharest.
As part of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the field of Public Service Delivery was signed between the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the General Secretariat of the Government of Romania.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aim is application of “ASAN service” experience at Romania, organize practices at “ASAN service” centers, It also mean sharing of best practices in the field of public service provision with the Romanian side by experts from the State Agency.
Romania is a member of the European Union and a strategic partner of our country.
During the signing ceremony, held at the Victoria Palace in Bucharest, the Secretary General of the Government of Romania, emphasized the exceptional significance of “ASAN Service” experience on public service delivery, which is globally recognized and accepted. He stated that they will benefit from this experience in further developing the relevant field in their country.
Chairman of the State Agency emphasized that, the Memorandum will contribute strengthening the successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and Romania.
Later, the representatives of General Secretariat of the Government of Romania delivered a comprehensive presentation on the innovative projects being implemented in their country.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Romania, Gudsi Osmanov, also participated in the meetings and events held during the visit.
It should be noted that the State Agency has signed agreements with more than 20 countries and international organizations to export the “ASAN service” experience.
