The Minister responsible for public services in Barbados at “ASAN Service”

Shantal Munro-Nait, Minister responsible for public services of Barbados, familiarized herself with the activities of the “ASAN Service” center. Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev, provided the guest with detailed information about the various activities of the State Agency, including the “ASAN Service” centers established under the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev and the projects implemented in the field of social innovations.
It was also highlighted that, in 2015, the State Agency received the United Nations Public Service Award; in 2019, it received a special UN award for advancing public services through the application of digital governance; and in 2023, within the framework of the Global Government Excellence Awards Program, it was selected as the “World’s most advanced public service” and received a special award. It was further emphasized that the “ASAN Service” model has been successfully implemented in various countries.
The guest stated that, Ministerial Forum on Green Advanced Governance within the framework of the 29th session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 29) was successfully organized by “ASAN service”. 
The Minister from Barbados stated that “ASAN Service” and its innovative practices had left a strong impression on her. She also emphasized her intention to collaborate on applying this experience in Barbados.
The guest got acquainted with the activities of the “INNOLAND” Incubation and Acceleration Center, Mobile “ASAN Service”, “ABAD” public legal entity.
